Diversified Enterprises: Leadership Support
Diversified Enterprises, a service provider in Tifton, Georgia, has contracted with Mission 501 since November 2023 on leadership development, compliance tracking, policy development, and overall strategic direction. These services have included interviews, focus groups, training facilitation, strategic plan updates, and other operational priorities.

National Employment Opportunities Network (NEON): Research Project
Funded by the Office of Disability Employment Policy through Economic Systems, Inc., Mission 501 is providing subject matter expert support for a major national research project focused on ladders and lattices between supported employment provider agencies and state government agencies. The goal of the project is to identify career pathways for professionals in support of field retention.

Undisclosed Provider Agency: CARF Accreditation Support
CARF International accreditation was successfully attained in 2023 by an undisclosed service provider in the Midwest with the help of Mission 501. Continued consultation is being provided in creating materials and systems in alignment with CARF standards for ongoing accreditation maintenance.

Association of People Supporting EmploymentFirst (APSE): CESP Administrative Optimization
Mission 501 is assisting the Association of People Supporting EmploymentFirst (APSE) by providing administrative oversight and assistance for the Certified Employment Support Professional (CESP™) credential, including certification and recertification eligibility, customer service for applicants and certification holders, as well as operational process troubleshooting and optimization.

Temple University's Institute on Disabilities: Workforce Development Training
Mission 501 is partnering with Temple University's Institute on Disabilities to deliver training to members of Pennsylvania Workforce Development Boards on the importance of cultivating a culture of belonging that embraces individuals with disabilities in the workplace.
This exciting project is made possible through a grant from the Pennsylvania Developmental Disabilities Council.

CW Resources: Training Development
Mission 501 created training for CW Resources, a supported employment provider in Connecticut, on job coaching in the community for their employment support professionals. This training became part of their onboarding orientation for all new employees.

The Center for Employment and Inclusion at Utah State University: Webinars
Utah State University contracted with Mission 501 in 2023 for the delivery of two webinars on functional feedback in the workplace, and data collection and analysis best practices for employment support providers. Over 150 attendees enhanced their knowledge through these sessions.

North Carolina APSE Employment First Training Academy: Virtual Training & Conference Seminars
North Carolina APSE’s Employment First Training Academy partnered with Mission 501 in 2023 for a virtual training series on team development and motivation at work. In addition, Mission 501 provided two pre-conference seminars at the 2023 NCARF Conference for the academy: a professional development roundtable to train and discuss best practices for supported employment teams and a seminar on feedback and boundaries in supported employment.

Summit County Developmental Disabilities Board: Keynote Speech
In 2023, Mission 501 delivered the keynote speech at the 5th annual Summit County Developmental Disabilities Board Employment Symposium in Akron, Ohio. The speech focused on empowering employment professionals and awareness of motivational factors to improve field retention.
